How do the tickets work?
There are two types of tickets.

Four Chapter Packages provides entry to all four Chapters for one person.

Single Chapter Tickets provide entry to one chapter one person. Each Chapter runs for six hours, from 5.30—11.30PM on Wed 11 (Chapter I), Fri 13 (Chapter II), Wed 18 (Chapter III) and Fri 20 October (Chapter IV).

The best way to experience A 24-Decade History of Popular Music is by seeing more than one Chapter: it is intended to be enjoyed like a serial. The idea of community is at the core of the work, and we intend to build community of ticket holders seeing multiple Chapters.

"I believe theater is community and I think of myself as a community activist; someone whose job it is to bring people together, give them a shared experience and remind them of the things they’ve forgotten, dismissed or buried."—Taylor Mac

We know not everyone can afford the time or ticket price. The Inauguration and The Wrap both feature elements of the four Chapters, at lower prices and less time commitment.

Are concessions available?
A limited allocation of $199 Four Chapter Packages are available for people 30 years and under. Tickets can only be collected at the box office and proof of age for all ticket holders must be shown.

A limited allocation of Under 30s and concession discounts are available for Single Chapter Tickets.

Due to the significant nature of the work we are unable to provide further discounts.
