Jim White of the Dirty Three and Sasha Waltz alumnus Claudia de Serpa Soares have banded together with Brooklyn-based artist Eve Sussman to construct a cabinet of wonders whose walls are not as transparent as they seem.
From seemingly casual beginnings a system of complex relationships builds between musician and performer that slowly extends beyond the confines of their limited stage, reaching invisible arms out to onlookers and implicating them in the action taking place.
This playful riff on surveillance, voyeurism and the comforts of anonymity is an invitation to reflect back on yourself, and it promises you’ll like what you see.
