Want to know what it takes to be a Tenebrae singer?
The Tenebrae Effect is the English choir Tenebrae’s inspiring choral development initiative that provides an insight into the elements which make their sound and interpretation of music so unique. It is designed to challenge and advance every participant in a friendly and supportive environment alongside professional singers from the choir.
City of Stonnington are pleased to offer choral enthusiasts the opportunity to join Artistic Director Nigel Short and Tenebrae singers for what is set to be a fascinating and informative experience, focusing on the following works:
This workshop is free and open to 60 voices whose prior choral experience means they are familiar with the works or are confident sight-readers.
Scores will be provided by Tenebrae on the day. Minimum age 16
